Sambor Prei Kuk is situated in full
forests, the site is at 30 km of Kompong Thom . Some Sambor Prei
Kuk's temples are completely "dressed" by trees and
roots which, in the course of the years, are "sculptured"
all around and enclose some temples as vegetable octopuses.

Girders of Sambor Prei Kuk's temples, very
well preserved, are stored near of the old house of the French
curator, house still carrying the tracks of cannon's knocks fired
by the Red Khmers.
