Ta Phrom's temple, 12th century,
as well as that of Yeay Peau, are situated at 40 km of Phnom
Penh. Ta Phrom is a very beautiful temple maintained well with
flowers and trees. It was built by the King Jayavarman VII on
the place of a sanctuary of the 7th century. Some superb sculptures
of Apsaras and low-reliefs from angkorian period. Ta Phrom is
situated near of the Tonle Bati lake. The main sanctuary contains
5 rooms with des Shiva Lingas. The Red Khmers damaged these rooms. |

of theTa Phrom king's mother. Yeay Peau was built on the 7th
century, it is situated near of a pagoda who was partially destroyed
by the Red Khmers. |
